In 2003, when we 'Fast Add' a customer, the tax does not get set up on the
invoice. All customers in our area have the same tax exactly, and we would
like to have it set by default...

Is there a way to have Tax automatically set up on 'Fast Add'ed customers??

Thank you in advance!!

If you cannot get the fast add to work try pressing the + key in the
customer id field after typing a non existent customer id. This will bring
up the Maintain Customers/Prospect dialog box for a new customer with an ID
equal to the one you typed in.

You can press Alt+X to move the cursor the Sales Tax field. Type in a sales
tax code to bring up the dropdown. You can move through the drop down list
with the arrow keys or page up & page down keys and use the enter key to
select.

When the sales tax code is properly picked press alt+s to save the customer
record and escape to close the maintenance screen. You will be returned to
the Sales/Invoicing screen where you can enter the rest of the invoice
information.

Also if you press + in the Customer ID with no customer id entered you will
be taken to a blank customer record.
