This program makes it possible to use your SB32/AWE32/AWE64 memory more
efficiently and improves quality of midi music. It's possible due "Patch
caching" technology which is used in Gravis Ultrasound sound cards. How
does it work? It's not necessary to keep all General Midi/General Synth
set of instruments (about 330) in sound card's RAM. This program builds
temporary sound font with instruments that are used just in certain midi
files and plays it.

mileniu4.zip Millennium Countdown: How long until 2001?

This program calculates how long is it till the Millennium, or the year
of 2001. If you don't like it to count to 2001, you can change it to
2000. It resides on your desktop and system icon tray. Two display
types can be chosen - regular and digital. You can change the display
from regular, which is the original display, to Digital Display, which
looks just like some of the clocks. You can also make the Millennium a
always-on-top window.

ntrck224.zip n-Track: Unlimited tracks, multitrack recorder

n-Track is a multitrack recorder for Windows 95 and Windows NT4.0. It
lets you record, overdub, mix wave and MIDI tracks. Simultaneous
recording from multiple soundcards is also supported. Various wave files
formats are supported and mono & stereo tracks are can coexist in the
same song. Audio effects can be applyed non-destructively to each track,
allowing the user to listen immediately to the result of a change in the
parameters of an ef fect: 255 combinations of effects per track are
allowed. Current effects include echo, chorus, compression. Third party
standard DirectX audio plug-in can be used from inside the program. The
Shareware version of SIPAB's Quickverb and the demo versions of Multiverb
and Lawnmover effects are optionally installed by the setup program.
MIDI tracks can be imported end exported to regular MIDI files. All the
audio tracks are saved as standard wave files and mixed "on the fly"
during playback. Volume and pan evolution can be programmed dy drawing
it on the timeline window. When all the tracks have been recorded and
all the settings are correct, it's possible to "render" all the tracks to
a single wave file, to store the song and for eventually recording it to
a compact disk using a CD-R.

Special requirements: A full duplex soundcard (capable of simultaneously
recording & playback).

sce_1_20.zip Nassi-Shneiderm charts from Pascal and Delphi

Source Code Explorer v1.20E for Pascal and Delphi (SCE) creates Nassi-
Shneidermann charts by simply loading a Pascal or Delphi source code (DOS
or Windows programs). Additional SCE depicts the structure of units as a
tree diagram similar the explorer of W95. The registered version can
make printouts from the charts and if desired, a reference diagram of the
printout. The size of the loadable files of the full version is
virtually unlimited.

setdate.zip SetDate: Set and synchronize file dates. Free

SetDate is a 32-bit program that allows you to set the date of a file.
You can change all three dates (last write, creation and last access).

As an option, you can add "Set date" to all file context menus. This
means that whenever you right-click on a file, an option "Set date" will
be available in the context menu. Whenever you right-click on a folder,
the option "Set date" will let you set the date of all files in this
folder (excluding subdirectories) to the same value.

If you run SetDate with filenames as command line options, the dates of
these files can be set to the same value. Wildcards are not (yet)
allowed here.

ScheduLAN is a network-based product that includes one of the most
complete office schedulers available, an office sign-out board, a message
center, and a shared phone book. Its scheduler will prepare calendars
and other reports that display one person's upcoming events or those for
several people simultaneously. Data can be filtered when a report is
generated, so that only events for a particular project (or even those
events containing a particular word) will be displayed. The program's
sign-out board will tell you where anyone in the office has gone, how to
reach him, and when he expects to return. Its message center stores
messages for office-mates when they are out. This program will
optionally drag events forward from day to day until you tell the program
to tag them for deletion. It also finds free time, easily establishes
recurring events, and calculates date intervals. A snooze- alarm, world
time chart, and a wide variety of reports are among the program's other
features.
