Riva TNT sucking worse than my ancient Canopus Pure3D

Most issues with power consumption cause crashing problems, not poor
performance. I think you CPU is just too slow, NVIDIA cards don't tend to
run that well with processors that slow.

My god man! The minimum cpu requirements for a TNT is a P-II 350! I guess it would suck worse than a Pure3D, with that 233. A cheaper upgrade would be a "good" Banshee card as they can be had just about anywhere for $70 or so and they aren't as cpu intensive as the Riva chipset. The Banshee will run rings around that Pure3D on your 233... and it also runs glide only games where the TNT can't... at least not in this life time anyway... ;^) Hope this helps
