I'm lead to believe I can capture video using this card but so far I've had
no luck.

I've tried the supplied WinCoder (and VirtualDub). WinCoder crashes on
startup (as does it's diagnostict tool). VirtualDub says capture device not
installed.

I've installed all of the (latest) drivers etc. but still get nothing.

Any clues as to what important bit I've missed out?

System:
Gainward Ultra 750/XP ti4600
Dual AMD 1800+
Dual Iiyama VM Pro 512
1GB RAM
Win2K

A free alternative is CAPTV. You can get it here
http://www.micromediaenterprises.com/captv/. It works fine with my
Visiontek ti4600.

AMD 1900+
512 mb RAM
Visiontek ti4600
Win XP Pro

Thanks. I tried it and it just says cannot connect to device 0.

I'm guessing that there is some driver I need to install - but which one?

I had that problem too. I had to uninstall and reinstall my video drivers.
It worked fine after that.
