Just a quick question - how on earth do I run the demos from NVidia's
website? For example, the Chameleon demo from
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/view.asp?PAGE=pg_20010531633625. I'm running
Windows 2000 and have tried running the demo from there but get the error
"Program too big to fit in memory". I also tried booting to a Windows98 DOS
prompt and running the demo from a CD and got the same error. Any ideas
anyone?

Cheers

I have exactly the same problem, just cannot get it to run.
Appreciate any help as the demo looks cool.

Hey Random, someone posted this problem a few days ago, and the reply was
that the demo from Nvidia's website is screwed up. You have to download it
from somewhere else.
I have the Chameleon demo, but it came on the cd, and it works .
I don't remember the link to where you could download this demo, but
someone will post it .

you can find all the nvidia demos at http://www.abitboy.com/files.htm .
Chameleon is best but if you have broadband make sure you download Zoltar!

Make sure you don't use a download manager to get the file, such as DAP. I
had the same problem until I disabled DAP. Seems to apply to all files form
the NVIDIA site. IMO it isn't worth downloading anyway.

You do have a G3 right? You must have a G3 to run the demo. I think it's was
well worth the DL. It really shows off what good bump mapping is all about.
