CL GeforceII -> Quadro2 Pro

HELLO!

I have converted my Creative Labs 3D Blaster. GB010 or something.
(GeforceII GTS 32mb) to a Quadro2 Pro using the resistor trick, and it's all
working fine. ( a bit scarey, but i did it!)

I was told SBA was enabled through hardware and not software emulation, is
this true?
Or if not, is there a way of enabling it?

Also, is there any benefit to upgrading the BIOS on the card?

I guess thats the only advantage I'll have from converting it, that and loss
of warranty, but I voided that when I stuck my nice cooling kit on it.

May as well get the most out of your card!

the
card? Is there a web link that gives instructions to do it????

I've been following post about these conversions and it seems that most who try
are successful.
I also have a CLAP Gts and may want to do this conversion. I'm mostly a game
player and a bit of Photoshop.
What benefits have you seen from the conversion, more framerates, additional
FSAA features, shorter times in executing applications, could you give us a
hint.

I don't think you need a new BIOS but try try the Reference BIOS _if you run
into trouble_. As always: don't fix it unless it's broke. Or if you are
getting an easy five-minute upgrade!
