3DMark2000 question

I have an old Creative TNT2 Gamer 32MB and a ELSA Gladiac GTS 32MB DDR. On
testing both cards with 3DMark2000 I have noticed the TNT2 is fater then the
Geforce2 GTS in 64Bit textures.

Any one now why this should be or is it down to just poor drivers ?

WinMe + VIA .25a drivers
ABIT KT7-100
196MB mem 133MHz
Quantum LM drives
Nvidia ref 6.35 drivers ( 6.47 intermittent with ELSA GTS ).

My elsa I use the 6.34 beta driver from Elsa web site and the nvidia reg.
tweak.....

Yes, but I get better 3DMark scores with the 6.35 drivers.

Make sure in the G2s settings that you disable the Vsync in the OpenGL
settings otherwise the FPS is tied you monitor's refresh and mines at 75
Mhz so it wouldn't be able to go above this.If you have Via Chipset you
need the 4 in 1 drivers package as well to get full AGP support.

I thought that 3DMARK didn't run any Opengl teests, only D3D...
