Wow... what a boring card! No new features since the G400... Matrox are
jogging backwards fast!

Anyone who buy's a graphics card tailered to video conferencing is a bit
stupid! Buy a normal card and spend the extra dough on broadband and have a
prper full video stream! Sheesh.

Actually I rather like my G400 cards. I can run multi-headed displays
under both Win-98 and XFree86. Didn't take all that much time to get
running, as long as I didn't install the drivers that shipped with
the video card.

Not always an alternative, especially with remote areas. This is not
a gamer's card - it's aimed at businesses.

i think we have to wait and see somekind of
benchmarks for rthe g550 (i hope g550 will dissappoint me)

The G550 clock speed should be around G400Max speed but limit by the DDR ram
bandwidth what else can you expect ? Your wish is granted the G550 will
disappoint you for sure!
