VXD Blue Sreen & Direct Draw errors

Soyo 5EMH w/Matrox G200 and AMD k6-2-300 is giving Blue screen VXD VIAGART
error. Also getting DirectDraw Win95 illegal operations error. Both occur
when running video tests for 3D. Any ideas? Please help.

Did you update the Matrox drivers to the one they have on their site?

Hello,
I've got a Soyo 5EMA, Matrox G200, and K6-2 300 - pretty close to what you
have... I don't get too many problems once I've installed everything as per
the suggested setup on www.matroxusers.com, but I do have some problems with
DirectX: no 8 bit color modes supported. I've re-installed Windows 98 TWICE
and am using the drivers released the other day (4.21?) , still the same
problem. Are you using drivers from the Soyo CD or the drivers from
www.viatech.com? I'm using the via 2.9 Vxd and the other MVP3 drivers from
the website. I'm going to check out the soyo website tonight to see if they
say anything there - maybe I'll call Matrox tech support? Hopefully these
problems will be worked out soon!
