Hi,

I have been following this newsgroup for a few weeks as well as reading
Matrox's US and German website. Somehow I am confused with the information
presented there and what I've been reading here. So maybe one of you can
give me a definite answer to my question from your practical experiences.

I am thinking about buying a G400 DH for my PII400, 256MB, Asus P2B-F,
WinTV-PCI, DVD-Drive (SCSI).

I would like to:
- watch DVD-movies on my TV and monitor at the same time
- watch TV on my TV (wow!), but I want to use the WinTV-tuner in my PC

I am running Windows 2000 Professional on my PC.

Now, is this possible with the G400DH under W2K? Ah, should I get the retail
or the bulk version?

Thanks for your support.

Georg

Just write "Want to use MoreTV to watch PayTV on large scale" ;-)

Or write "My old TV does not have a cable-tuner so I can use the one in my
PC" ;-).
Anyway, obviously you don't have an answer to my original question, do you?

Georg Howen ließ verlauten:

No, sorry. As my TV is too heavy to get it anywhere near my PC I never
used the DH.

All I know is that DH doesn't function properly in W2K (DH on AGP seems
to be possible only with a trick since AGP specifications don't allow
DH). But I don't know whether these limitations have any effect on the
use of DH Clone (which you need for TV output) as well.
