Connecting a SBLive! (full) to a DVD5 w/DxR2, best way?

I believe the subject says it all, but... What's the best way to hook up
the CL DVD 5x & DxR2 to the SBLive! ?

Currently, I've got the "DigOut" on the DxR2 going to the "I2S In" on the
SBLive!,
and the "AudOut" on the DxR2 to the "CD In" on the Live. And upon opening
the case, it looks like I've neglected to hook up the S/PDIF on the DVD
drive to anything, the analog audio port is hooked up to the DxR2 though.

Basically....
DxR2 SBLive!
DigOut -> I2S In
AudOut -> CD In

This is wrong, isn't it?

The very best way, is to not use the SB Live, but go straight from the Dxr2
via the AC-3 / SPDIF cable.. straight to your Dolby Digital 5.1 receiver!
