Every once in a while I run "check for updates" from my system tray. It opens a
window called "updating completed".

The text within says "You can see the updates in the Task Info Box when you
perform the next task from the launcher".

What exactly is this purporting to do, and where can I see evidence of these
alleged updates?

Dear Mr. / Mrs. Forget.about.it

Live Update simply does what is says. It will update the drivers and other
software for your SB-Live soundcard. You will see the results where Creative
says it will be. The only problem is they send updates once in a blue moon
:-((

I hope they release another soon, to resolve all these problems with newer
VIA chipsets.

OK, but where is that? Is it a place I can see even if there were no updates
(empty text area or something)?
