At the install, it was configured to play 64 voices so I tought it was
enough but now, I would like to have 128 voices available. Anybody
can help me? Would be much appreciated.

Two things to do:

1) To get more HARDWARE voices get a second SBLive (not 5.1 versions) and
install the EMUAps drivers available at http://come.to/sblive (if you are
using synth A and B)

2) If you want more SOFTWARE voices go to the system properties, find the
SBLive, click the Synth options tab and increase the number of voices.

Take care

Well this will change the number of voices available for the Creative
SBLive S/W Synth not the A: SB Live! MIDI Synth wich is what I need to
use the Soundfonts. BTW, why would i want to use the Creative S/W
Synth even if it has 1.24 voices? It sounds soooo bad compare to a
good 64Megs SoundFont. Is there a way to completely disable this
Synth in Windows? It is automatically assignedinr Band in a Box9 and
I have to use the Use\Set alternative MIDI Output driver command for
every session.

thanks for your help Soeren

Open Mutimedia Properties in the Control Panel.
Go to Devices | Midi Devices and Instruments | MIDI for Creative
Software Synth | Properties and check "Do not use MIDI feature on this
device". It will require a re-boot or at least a re-start of Windows
but it will be gone.

Thanks a lot Ben,

It worked! Now I don't have to manually configure the A: Creative for
MIDI in Band in a Box!

That's what friends are for ;-)

Do you not have (in B in B) an Opt menu item? My B in B is version 8
and has Set Midi output as the first item and it is a persistent
setting.

Yes but it kept on assign it back at every session.

I was able to de-assign it with Ben's suggestion
