PaperPort 6.0 Upgrade --- Really ???

I can't figure this out... except that Xerox/PaperPort folks are seeking
more of the publics money than they should be.

The PaperPort Scanner Suite upgrade was announced via a... spam ...to
PaperPort Delux registered owners. The upgrade includes PaperPort Delux 6.0
and TextBridge Pro 8.0.

TextBridge Pro 9.0 was *just* released... so why is TextBridge Pro 9.0 not a
part of the upgrade ???

Seems like the customers upgrading PaperPort Delux are getting the short end
of the stick ???

I smell a fish... <sigh>

PaperPort Deluxe 6.0 sells for about $60 retail. Textbridge Pro 98 sells for
about $70 retail. Textbridge Pro 9.0 sells for about $90 retail. I suspect
that is your reason.

If it says Textbridge Pro 98 somewhere, then that sounds like a deal, because
the specs on PaperPort 6.0 at www.scansoft.com says it includes Textbridge
Classic, which is not the Pro version. Pagis Pro includes the Pro version.
