Video card that doesn't require Net?

I wonder if there is any way to find out if Asus makes any
video cards - PCI, PCI Ex x.x - that don't require the added
bloat of NET? I don't use it, but have noticed that at least
some (most?) video cards require it.

Hi!

The full driver package for all ATI video cards requires .NET only for the
Catalyst Control Center. It is possible to download a basic driver-only
package from ATI that does not include CCC and therefore will not require
.NET.

If nVidia is bundling any software with their drivers that requires .NET to
be installed, I'm not aware of it. (All I know for sure is that you can't
install the PhysX stuff on Windows 2000, although the installer will try to
do so.)
