Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to install XP Pro on a SATA drive on an ASUS M2N-E
motherboard ?
I have made all the disc's for the raid and sata controller etc but when
after pressing F6 to install the drivers I get a msg saying "please insert
the manufacturers disc in the A drive" I can't get it to recognise the ones
I have made
anyone any ideas?
thanks in advance for your help
dave

When you use the F6 option & insert the floppy you should see a number
(maybe) of drivers to select from. If you see nothing then either you didnt
create the floppy correctly or the floppy drive is at fault.
If you see a driver & its not accepted then you used the the wrong driver in
your floppy

Unplug the floppy drive and use an USB drive? unplug all hard drives apart
from your C drive?

Without Slipstreaming the drivers onto a custom XP install CD, you will
need a floppy drive to install the drivers.

Since you mastered "slipstreaming SP3 into your XP, it would have been very
easy to slipstream the SATA drivers straight into you XP install using nLite
