BIOS Error - SPD not found at DIMM(s) 1

The SPD is a chip on the DIMM that allows the system to identify the
size/speed of the memory. Chances are, you bought an older DIMM that does
not have SPD. It may not be able to run reliably at 100 MHz, so I would
consider returning it for something newer...

Both the DIMM and the invoice state PC100 so it looks like it's a dodgy DIMM
that's been badged incorrectly. I'll make sure to get it returned for the
genuine article.
