If you're using a single CPU, did you put it in CPU0 socket ?
The user manual may have a block diagram. Sometimes, Tyan has
a block diagram on the web site you can download. Looking at that,
you can see that CPU1 alone, cannot talk to the chipset. So
CPU0 is the first one to fill. If you didn't put the DIMMs
next to the CPU0 socket, the beeping would likely tell you
of your mistake. But without the correct CPU0 socket filled,
there won't even be any beeping.
You might also want to check all the various power connectors,
and make sure you have cabled up to them. Also, thoroughly
verify the power supply type. As some of those 2x4 connectors,
have wiring variants, and if you connect the wrong power
supply, you could burn something, depending on how powerful
the supply is.
