I'm hoping that this group hasn't died through inactivity.

I'm trying to add a PCIE graphics card to an SG33G50, whose onboard graphics
is failing.

In the BIOS I've changed
PnP/PCI Configurations -> Init Display First
to PCIEx/HDMI out of (PCI Slot, Onboard, PCIEx/HDMI ).

In Windows XP Pro the system boots up as normal but fails to recognise the
extra hardware.

In System Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager
only the Intel G33/G31 shows up.

The card I've tried to add is a Radeon HD 5450.
I've also tried with a GF 7300 LE with the same results.

Is there an actual motherboard jumper or more in the BIOS ?

Or any other clues ?

Thanks

Eric
