Sixteen years ago today I sent a control message that encouraged news
admins to create this group. Assuming MSI Microstar remained in business,
I actually thought that the group's usefulness might outlast me.

Now it is an empty spam trap, and I'm here talking to myself.

Holy crap, I'm shocked. I thought this group was well abandoned. I do
have a MSI board in a junk box, in the basement. An old 6163 Pro. What a
great board that was, in its day.

I now have an MSI GTX 1080 which is surprising since I turned off them from the nVidia 250 chipset boards from mid 2000s.

This 1080 was used and at too good of a price to pas up. HOWEVER, I updated from a HD 6970 HD and afterwards a 780 GTX which was Asus, and boy, those guys ran everything I threw at them without a peep (well, the 6970 sounded a bit like a jet engine)

This MSI has coil whine

Hi! I am still here. I still use a couple MSI products:
1. MSI R4870-T2D512 OC Radeon HD 4870 512 MB video card.
2. MSI P43 NEO3-F (MSI-7514) motherboard

Both about a decade old that still work right now! :D

What about the rest of you? And usenet forever. :P
