What is hot-swapping?

Did something very silly .... updated the bios of the K7T Pro (award Bios)
with a BIOS for the KT7 Pro (seems to be AMI bios). Now the thing will
switch on, but will not do anything, not even access the floppy drive to do
the MSI restore. I have access to other K7T pro boards, but what is this
"hot-swapping" which seems to work for people?

Hot-swapping the BIOS is somewhat dangerous - you will have to remove
the BIOS-chip while the computer is running. A better idea is to get a
new BIOS-chip, or sent the card in for service...
