I have just ordered a couple of Barracuda drives to set up a RAID 0 array.

Does anyone know if Partition Magic 7 and Drive Image 5 support striped
arrays?

There is nothing (well nothing that makes it clear) on the PowerQuest
website!

TIA

I use PM7 and DI 4 on my striped drive. Full image backup and restore
worked fine. The DI "manual" specifically says it supports such arrays,
so don't worry.

Thanks Mark,

I cannot find any reference to arrays, RAID or striped in the DI5 manual
(which is strange if you say it was mentioned in version 4) even searching
the PDF version of the manual! The web based KB is less than useful.

I did find a reference to RAID 0 in the PM7 manual.

Do you need to install any drivers to the DOS floppies or does it just
recognise the existence of an array from the BIOS ?

Glad you have it working - I'll keep my fingers crossed :P

Cheers

Just use the floppies from the DI program.
