The GA-6BA's "F1g" bios has been updated to "F1" dated Feb 05, 2001 and
it now CORRECTLY displays PIII 1Ghz processors during boot-up (it used to
report 962 MHz) and it automatically skips immediately to the end of the
Quick Memory Check scroll as if I hit the ESC key ..... which is great,
because it used to take about 15-20 seconds to scroll 512 mb of memory, even
when the older F1g bios was set to Quick Memory Check. I used to just hit
the ESC key to skip to the end of the scroll, but now the new 'F1" Bios does
that automatically for me.
It also cleared up a number of minor issues I was having running Win ME.
Yahoooooooooo!
