Has anyone tried the new F1 Bios on there GA-6BA boards when using a P3
processes greater than a 800 ..... I just did and it cleared up a lot of
minor annoyances with my P3-1Ghz.:

1. It now properly displays the PIII-1Ghz as a 1Ghz instead of a 923 or
something like that before.

2. Memory in Bios set to CAS 2 now holds solid and does not occasionally
slip back up to a CAS 3 setting.

3. Occasional Windows98/ME startups where scrolling the Favorites in IE5.5
was non-functional has been delimited.

4. Occasional Windows98/ME startups where general overall video display
performance was slow or unresponsive has been eliminated .......... a bunch
of other minor things where WindowsME runs now stable as a rock!

In general, this unannounced recent upgrade of the beta F series bios for
the GA-6BA series on the Gigabyte site is a God-Send and I wish to thank
those at Gigabyte Tech who quietly and unceremoniously posted the update a
few months ago.

Many thanks!
