Has anyone had success using the PCI slot next to the AGP slot on the BX
chipset motherboards (mine's a Gigabyte GA-6BA) while using an AGP video
card (mine is an ATI Radeon 7500 All-In-Wonder) with Windows 98/ME?

I understand that this PCI slot shares the same IRQ as the AGP Video slot
and a few cards which do not require an IRQ will work, but what about
something like those new USB 2.0 PCI adapter cards that probably use an IRQ?

Could IRQ sharing in Windows 98/ME deal with this type of situation
(especially if the only use for the USB 2.0 card would be to link up to an
external HD for occasional backups and archiving)?

I have no other PCI slots available ..... Thanks.
