Jumper Settings For Pentium III's On GA-6BXC Motherboard?

What jumper settings are available to support say a 750MHz Pentium III CPU?

I have a rev 1.7 version of the GA-6BXC motherboard with BIOS version 2.9. I
noticed that the voltage on my current CPU is 2.0V (this is a Pentium II
350MHz). The new CPU is a Pentium III 750MHz processor with 256k cache,
100MHz bus, Slot 1, 1.7V, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I just out of luck with this
motherboard and PCB revision?

Thanks for any help!

Dan.

Dan,
Be VERY careful!
The rev 1.7 BXC is officially not capable of operating with Slot 1
Coppermine processors as it cannot supply a low enough voltage to the
processor.
To run a Coppermine in your board you will need to get an FCPGA processor
and a slotket!

Er - does this also apply to the GA6BXU? If it is, there's no point in my
considering the 1GHz PIII/100?

The 6BXU can support slot 1 Coppermines with the latest bios, but its
officially only rated up to 850Mhz, you may get it to go faster, and I think
some people have, but its strictly at your own risk.

Damn. I'll be better off getting a Celeron 850/100 then. The price
difference
for a PIII 850/100 is *definitely* not worth it.
