For some reason I seem unable to run both SATA and IDE in my system using
onboard sockets.

I have 3 IDE drives 2 for OS one for backs and 3 SATA drives but these are
connected via Promise PCI card, if you are able to mix them without any
issues can you give me some help with bios settings.
