Any ideas why is he freezing?
I have 400w big tower everpower, 256Mb micron pc133 ram, Abit siluro MX400,
vulcano 6cu+ (but working on 5v - 3200 rpm).
2x 80Gb IBM 7200rpm, 40Gb WD400AB.

Have the same prob with the same specs, the 8KTa3/+ does not officially
support the XP chips, so I have to up the volts a step to get it stable at
130 fsb ( until I have enough s for board and mem, not long now ;-)

Ihave the same problem.
I contacted epox, they said
if you take of the chipset heatsink and you have silver coloured chip
then your board will defintely run properly with an XP chip, if you
have a black chip then you should be ok with an Athlon XP.
I have an 1500XP wich I have running reliably at 130FSB (with a little
extra vio voltage and some things disabled in the bios)
I used to have 1.4 G thunderbird which ran 100% stable at 140 FSB.
