I'm considering to replace my ATX 230Watts power supply because it's giving
wrong voltages. What power supplis in the market are the best? What I must
check when I buy one? Better 300Wats for 2HD,2CD,4 PCI cards?
Thanks in advance

I like my SPI 235Watt.
Seems like SPI power supplies are used with lots of top quality cases.
300Watt is available.

Here's a place to look:
Lindsay Computer Systems, http://www.jump.net/~lcs
Austin, Texas. 512-719-5257. Asus based systems, Asus Products.

Gary.

alone (45 CFM) makes it well worth the money.

I'd say ditto on the PC Power & Cooling 300Watt power supply (I have the
Turbo-Cool 300 ATX model).
Running:
Overclocked PII 333 (at 412 MHz, with 128 megs RAM)
2 HDs
3 CDs (2 SCSI, 1 EIDE DVD)
4 PCI cards (video card, VooDoo1 card, SCSI card, DVD decoder)
2 ISA cards
SCSI tape backup drive
floppy drive, PDA docking station
2 extra case fans
3 OSes (DOS 6.22/Win3.1, Win95 OSR2.1, & NT4 Workstation)

Plenty of power. I like this power supply's fan design (blows air out of the
case). It's expensive, but worth it.

As for what to look for in a PS, there are a few very important specs re: DC
voltage output, load regulation, etc. that I don't recall offhand. There are
a few websites that will have some info. on this. I know the PC Power &
Cooling PS had the required numbers when I was researching the issue.

Good Luck

I have had good luck with my PC and Power cooling 300 Watt'r power
supply, however it has been making some buzzing noises, intermittently,
and i think it certainly doesn't have enough connectors for my 3 hard
drives and 2 cd rom drives, and three fans. But.....I am going to buy a
400 WATT ATX version when i get my ATX machine soon.

What important in a power supply is its tolerances for line conditions,
and the PC powercooling seem to handle those.

Go to Buyz.com for the best price for the PC Power&Cooling power
supply. It's cheaper from them than buying directly from PC
Power&Cooling themselves.

I think 230 W is OK.
I run TX97 XE with 3 CD Roms, 3 Harddisks, 3 PCI cards, 3 ISA cards,
