I recently tried plugging two 8Mb EDO 60nS simms into the Simm banks.
My motherboard could NOT see any of the memory!
I then tried plugging the simms into another mother board and they worked
perfectly!
Does anyone know if the VL/I-486SV2GX4 motherboard can see EDO memory??
Do I need a Bios upgrade???
Currently when I boot it comes up with:
Award modular BIOS V4.50G
#401A0-0305
01/11/95-SIS-85C471-I486SV2G-00
Any Suggestions???

Can't use it. Get a different MB. EDO et.al woudn't work on a VLB board in
general.
