I bought a tag ram and a cache module with 256K because I inreased my
memory to 96 MB. After installing this moduls the system can't boot. Is
it possible that the board revision 3.0 is not able to cache more than
64MB.

Thanks a lot

Some possible problems. One, if the module you have for cache has a tag ram
chip already you don't need one in the socket. Two, if the cache module is
DRAM it will not cache more than 64 megs. I have an earlier revision of
your board and it sings with 128 meg in NT! The board will cache all 512
possible megs of memory. Does the revision 3.0 have a cache jumper to set
for caching over 64 megs? Mine does. I don't think this would cause a
no-boot situation though. Also, are you sure it's the right module? The
people I got my board from had to actually try the one I got because they
weren't even sure! Luck I got it with the board. Maybe it's even a bad
module . . .

Did you set the cache jumper on the board from 256K to 512K?
Was the tag ram installed correctly? Small notch at one end
should be placed on the end of the socket where there is also a notch.
