overclocking P133 ->P166

i search to overclock my intel pentium 133mhz to 166mhz
i have P/I-P55T2P4 Rev 2.1, Award bios 1.08
i have a Intel Pentium 133Mhz SY022, modele 2 version C (found with
cpuidf.exe)
I set JP12 at 2-3, JP11 at 1-2 (bus 66Mhz), JP10 and JP9 at 2.3 (Bus x 2.5)
when i start my computer, it show always 133Mhz (and not 166Mhz or more)
It's posible to overclocking to 166Mhz ?

Probably not with your processor. The sign of a CPU that won't work
at a particular overclock is that it doesn't work - it shouldn't
report 133Mhz if it's not working at 166Mhz, it should just not work!
So, you probably have one that can't be overclocked. If, on the back,
it says "i133" rather than "iPP", it's the same as mine, which can't
be overclocked. [2.5x is seen as 2x, and 3x is seen as 1.5x.]

The chip probably won't overclock, BUT setting your motherboard to 75
or 83 mhz clock will accomplish it for you. 75mhz will bring you to a
150mhz cpu and 83 mhz clock will bring you to 166mhz. You are
actually overclocking the chipset. I am doing this without problems.

I searched high and low for a 133 that is overclockable to 166. I
finally found one. SY007 is the code on the top. It also runs at
180Mhz but Windows 95 will crash. 166 for 3 days non-stop and no
problems!

My P133 (sy028) has been running at 200 Mhz for 2 months. sy022 's simply
do not overclock, they actually run at 100 Mhz if set at 66X3 and 133 Mhz
if set at 66X2.5. These results tested with winbench 97 using several
sy028's and 3 different computers.
