The motherboard is the ASUS P2L97 Series AGP Mainboard the Video Accelerator
I used for this computer is the ASUS AGP 3DexPlorer 3000.
My problem is that I installed the drivers but the refresh rate is so low
that my eyes hurt. How do I increase the refresh rate of the video card? It
doesn't say in any of the manuals nor is it in the Display Properties in the
Control Panel. How do you do it?
Please reply ASAP as my eyes hurt all the time.
Thank you. I would appreciate a reply to ni...@mnl.sequel.net ASAP!!!

Something is amiss, because the Display Properties on my (very similar) system
have a list box to select the refresh rate. Currently running at 1024x768 at
85hz, which is very smooth indeed...
Did you install Win95/OSR2.1 on this system as outlined in the ASUS AGP
3DexPlorer 3000 user manual? And did you go through the driver installation as
described in the same manual?
Cheers!

Make sure you select a monitor! Look for Change Display Type in the Display
properties. Refresh rates depend upon the monitor attached to the video card.
Old or very cheep monitors have low refresh rates. Also new Plug-n-Play
monitor will automatically select the highest refresh rates.
