AMR slot

Hi:

Can anybody explain me what is use of the AMR slot on some of the MB? I
want to buy the CUV4X MoBo but I believed somebody saying that the AMR slot
is too close to the DIMM slots or PCI slots (I don't remember which one) or
that you have to use one of those for the AMR. Do I really need the AMR
slot? In what instances do you use it? I was planning to buy the P3V4X with
the Asus S370-133 adapter but, if the CUV4X already is a S370 and the AMR
is not a big deal (that's why I am asking) I will go for it. Thanks for the

AMR stands for Audio Modem Riser.
Just a slot that accepts AMR cards > modem/sound card or both on a single
card.
The ASUS CUV4X board looks pretty good to me...
