Just put this system together, unfortunately, it seems to reboot after
flashing the Win98 splash screen, then plops me into the safe mode screen.
I've updated ALL drivers, flashed the bios on the P2B and the Viper 550.
When it does reach Windows, a message states adapter not configured correctly
(or something along that line). (sorry, I'd reboot right now to see the
*exact* message, but I'm downloading the 25mb trailer for Phantom Menace)
I've tried everything I can think of. One odd note, after I removed the
display adapter and monitor, the system reboots and everything seems fine.
Incontrol tools are on the taskbar, I'm looking at the way it should be.
However, when I cold boot, the same damn thing happens again. (see above
paragraph)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check the RAM timing in the BIOS, if you are not using PC 100 RAM, you will
have to adjust the RAM timing.

Thanks, I do have PC100 ram. (non ECC) This is driving me crazy, when the
system reboots in to the safe mode option screen, I choose step by step
confirmation, then it will load. I'm almost sure it's a Windows problem now
and not the MB after a few hours of troubleshooting and narrowing down the
problem. (most likely the Diamond drivers) A few more options to try.
