If you haven't switched off AC power do so to reset the hardware monitor.
If you get a high/low beeping on first boot from AC power off, VCore or
VIO may be more than .2V from nominal. Disable all monitoring and
re-enable one at a time to isolate the error, for example, a fan speed
less than 2650 or so may cause an error.

At first I thought it might be a temperature problem, but individuals on
the list have kindly advised that temperatures in the 30 - 50 C range
for the CPU are okay.
In looking at the voltages under the Power Management setup, I find a
"4.0 err" message following the reading for the +3.3V. For the vcore
reading it says 2.1V.
I took apart the case and examined the jumper settings for 300Mhz AMD
K6-2 processor and it seems to be setup correctly as per the manual. In
fact, the boards was correctly figured out of the box.
Can anyone advise as to why the voltage readings are what they are?
The case and power supply are only about 1 1/2 old.
