Since I have my new motherboard (A7V rev 1.02, bios version 1003), my SB Live
gives some sort of noise when it outputs sound (for example, when playing
mp3's in winamp, playing from hdd).
My OS = win2000 pro build 2195. Sound Card = SB Live Player 1024. I didn't
install any soundcard drivers, so it's using the default win2k SBLive drivers.
Any ideaz?

Hmm, switching to AGP 2X instead of 4X sounds like a kinda waste of
performance :(
Anyway, what exactly is "sidebanding" and how do I disable it?
Tnx!
~Jace
Not when most games are written for AGP 1X and don't even take advantage of
AGP 2X yet :-) I doubt there is anything out there which could utilise AGP
4X and even if there was you wouldn't see much difference.
I have the opposite problem. Everything works fine with my Live! AGP 4X
etc.. I can't figure out how to enable sidebanding =)
