Problem is that the XP installation gets as far as the disk partitioning /
assign drive letter screen - this part seems to work OK. However when I let
it go ahead and install XP I get a screen saying :
To install Windows XP in the partition you selected, setup must write some
startup files to the following disk :
Unknown disk
However this disk does not contain a Windows XP-compatible partition.
Any ideas anyone ?

also, FYI, bios 5W has shown some instability in a lot of systems but not
all. if things seem real unstable after you get going, consider a flash
back to 5E.
also, you want to forget about the Highpoint 2.3 drivers as they have been
shown to be a step backwards from the 2.0.1019 or 2.0.1203 drivers.
