GETFLV is a scam - don't waste your money

The program used to work, after a fashion, that is, but hasn't for
months. This fact has not stopped the company from continuing to sell
it.
They will not answer support e-mails. They will not return your money
after you buy it and find it doesn't work. They simply do not answer
any e-mails sent to them.
They again have a new version for download, which also doesn't work.
Go to Google and search "getflv scam" and see the hundreds and
hundreds of posts to forums by the suckers - like myself, who bought
it.
Don't say you weren't warned.
Don't believe counter posts to this made by the company pretending to
be users. Go to Google and do the "getflv scam".

No, I'm not a liar, and calling me one is childish. I searched for
exactly what you asked, "getflv scam" with the quotation marks. I got one
hit as reported. You, OTOH, searched without the quotes. Big difference.

Searching your way gets everything in which both words are used, even if
they're not related. Searching with the quotes, as you wrote it, is
searching for an exact phrase, and that's what I thought you wanted.

At first glance, it would appear to be perfectly legitimate.
Have you tried the freeware/trialware version? I would suggest you do an
uninstall, then reinstall and try again.

methods to screw it up in no time flat when they learn of its
downloading ability. You are then screwed. And this does not take more
than a month or two. You have to pay again if you want a newer version
which "they say" will work again. On top of that, after a number of
months when the program loads it first comes up with the message that
it can no longer work with the newer flash players on your machine -
whether or not you installed a newer flash player. It drags you to
their site to buy the "new" version. It's lying to you. Exit from
their site and the program will still work with some of the sites you
have been using it for, which are few and far between. It's a fraud.
Save your money. Usually all it will download for you after a while is
the same sites the old freebie Stream Transport will download.

It seems Stream Transport is back in business again with a newer site.
Watch out for piggybacking software with your download. I got mine
long ago and this site is now totally different.
GetFLV is 85% scamware.

files, can't find it, but I've used it in the past.
