I've read that Windows 95 apparently uses DOS as the kernel *of* the kernel, and it actually is its own OS for the most part, unlike earlier versions. Does anyone know how much of the OS was 16-bit DOS code and how much was 32-bit NT-like code? For example, did it have an NT-like Object Manager?
