Anyone know where I can get a driver for 2000? Earliest drivers listed on the website are for XP, Vista and Server 2003.

Thanks!

NOTE: Do *not* use quoted-printable format when posting to Usenet. This
is not an e-mail venue. Lines in Usenet posts should physically wrap at
76 characters, or less. quoted-printable uses just 1 very long line per
paragraph.

Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

For news[groups], go to Options -> Send tab -> News Sending format and
select "Plain text" format. Click on the "Plain Text Settings" button.
Under there, select "MIME" for message format and "None" for "Encode
text using". Auto-wrap should be 76 characters, or less. Remember that
replies to your posts will prepend your lines with ">" characters so
something less than 76, like 70, will allow several levels of replies
(before Outlook Express gets jerky with its poor line wrap function).

I did a quick online search and the driver sites only list Windows XP as
the earliest version. Could be Epson never made Win2000 drivers for
that model. You could try the WinXP drivers to see if those work. If
the XP driver does not work then you'll have use the Add Printer wizard
to pick from a list of included printers (drivers that came with
Windows) to find a model that approximates yours.

Use the XP driver.
Or use PostScript or other drivers that Epson emulates.

I've got this printer connected via USB to a laptop with Windows 8.1, which is connected by ethernet to a router. There is another PC connected to the router that runs Windows 2000 that I need to print from.

I already tried using XP printer drivers, generic drivers in W2K and installing from the printer's CD and no success.

So for now, I'm transfering the files to the laptop and then opening and printing them from the laptop. I don't have the same software on both W2K and Win8 computers, so I'm converting everything on W2K to PDF, transfering to the laptop and printing the PDF. A real pain.

Any suggestions how to print from W2K without going thru the Win8 laptop?
