Might https://news.aioe.org/index.php?id=contacts be appropriate
destination of a message/question in form of complete sentence(s)?

I just added alt.comp.os.linux to my list of newsgroups under
nntp.aioe.org {my previous post was made using news.supernews.com}

I can read messages via that server and am using it to post this reply.

Your question is ambiguously worded, so I don't know what you're
implying.

But just in case you thought that "jrg" and myself would be the same
person, we are not, although I am familiar with his presence on Usenet,
given that he frequents several of the newsgroups I myself am subscribed
to.

My reply was simply intended as facetious. :-/

It was taken as such ;}
My phrasing was poor. I intended to expand on your answer in case OP was
dense.

Apologies to Aragorn and Sir Owlett for the unwanted emails - I was
totally unaware that my email client - thunderbird - changed the use of
"reply" and sent them direct to you instead. I am to use "follow up"
instead. Believe it or not the devs blame it on an RFC that must be
complied with. I've used tbird since day 1 and this is the dumbest
stunt I've seen yet. I can customize my mail bar by adding "reply" from
their custom choices, giving me a "reply" which works on the left and
one that doesn't work as a nntp client on the right.
I had no clue for 2 days just where those emails went - 2 days because
at&t changed their security protocols and screwed up 2 passwords.

And Sir Owlett, I located your reply in my yahoo trash box, dk why but
this is why...
