I've seen a wiki-like page of Linux command examples.
Unfortunately I failed to bookmark it.

I had seen it referenced in a post. Thinking it was on the debian-user
mailing list, I asked there but got only references to discussions about
why man pages have few examples {i.e. practicality}.

The site I'm thinking of:
1. does not duplicate man page content.
2. does not aim to be a tutorial
3. apparently aims to include as many commands as possible.
{I've found several pages of "... most popular commands"}
4. has no graphics and no fancy formatting {simple paragraph style}.

Suggestions?
TIA

Thank you. It's not the page I remembered, but does the job.

Did you ever re-discover the original site you were looking for? Now I
want to know about it.

Shehu, the link you provided is a _gem_. Thanks.
