While there's good attention being paid at the federal level, I find
an astonishing - to me, anyway - lack of visibility/interest/whatever
into subject matter.

I mean, we have 3,400 counties - not to mention towns - all in about
the same 'business' and presumably running similar applications. The
potential here seems huge.
Me, I'm an Open Source developer with a computer-aided-dispatch
application available. (See

I'd like very much to hear from anyone interested in pursuing this
issue.
