I keep getting an odd error for my firmware that only appears in a TTY
Environment.
It continues to say that the b43-phy firmware watchdog died. I don't know
what that is. When opening an xterm, I do `sudo modprobe -r b43 && sudo
modprobe b43` to reset the driver, and it works without error, but in the
TTY it gives this error:
``Missing Free Firmware (Non-free firmware loading disabled)''
I have the free drivers installed. Also odd is that it seems to randomly
print to the TTY the original error of the firmware watchdog. I can not
use the Internet due to the card not working (I don't have a LAN
connection set up at this time).
What should I do here? Should I reinstall the driver the next time I have
a temporary ability to use it. It is weird. It seems to have randomly
begun this. I was having problems prior, but I thought I resolved them.
I'll list them here since they may be related:
A number of simultaneous connections causes the wireless network to crash
For long periods of time, the actual network's SSID would not appear to
the device
Long latency
Seemingly fading in and out of connectivity in both regular and sparatic
intervals.
I am using Trisquel 7, the OpenWFF driverset, and Network-manager.
