Hi this may be overlooked in the mass of other posts to this ng :)


So maybe some peope still look here to see if they can learn something
or help someone - if so, perhaps you can help me?

We are running postfix (on RHEL 6x) - this transmits mail for a number
of domains (the users of our service are generating emails to people but
the application sends as being "from"
the...@thedomaintheirbusinessuses.com

This works fine - there is the need to establish SPF records and we have
DKIM set up.

We have one customer who'd like our system to send emails to them to
transmit.

Not sure of the terminology but I wondered if it's possible to ask
Postfix to "pass through" an SMTP request to a 3rd party MTA.

This would be required only for emails which are originating from a
specific domain; all other emails would be despatched as they are today
directly to the intended recipients.

Does this request make sense and if so, is it possible? Happy to be
directed to an appropriate web site if I'd be better served there -
