MPI on Mac OS X : mpich2 or openmpi ?

Hello,

I want to do some programmation on my Mac to get some experiment with
MPI.

I use Mac OS X 10.6 on a Intel Mac, gfortran 4.6, and Aquamacs for code
editing.

The goal is not perfomance, but just having a working software and try a
few things to teach myself MPI when away from our main computing
platforms.

Would advise me to use MPICH2 or OPENMPI ?

Your post is the second one on this newsgroup this year.

You're likely to get a better answer on comp.lang.fortran -
it's much busier.
