Help with 128 bit browser detection

Hi,

I am trying to find if there is a way to detect browser encryption level
before entering and using a web site.
I found couple of Netscape JavaScript filters but nothing about IE.
Does ColdFusion have a tool to detect browser encryption level?

No, ColdFusion is a server side process interpreter. It is not designed to
sniff the client platform, nor does it take platform into consideration. I
would suggest going to www.browserhawk.com and taking a look at that
product. They have some gnarly applications that run as a service on your
server that assist in extremely advanced platform detection via COM. They do
support ColdFusion....

There are several CGI variables that should help you determine HTTPS status:

HTTPS
HTTPS_KEYSIZE
HTTPS_SECRETKEYSIZE
HTTPS_SERVER_ISSUER
HTTPS_SERVER_SUBJECT

The one you'll need specifically is CGI.HTTPS_KEYSIZE, but the others
contain useful information as well.
