CF9 will not re-install (64-bit Win7)

Hello, everyone.

I've got a 64-bit Win7 system that has been running CF9 for a while. I recently had to uninstall CF9 because I applied patches to it and my CFAdmin screen no longer appeared; just a blank screen (replacing CFIDE with the backup I made didn't fix it.) I uninstalled and deleted the folder it was in.

Trying to re-install CF9, and the install will not happen. I run the ColdFusion_9_WWE_win64.exe installer, which opens a dialogue and the progress bar slowly fills to 100%, then the dialogue disappears and nothing happens. I've let the machine sit for 20 minutes, and nothing else happens.

I'm waiting for our IT guy to get me a registry cleaner. Until then, any ideas what might be preventing me from re-installing CF9?

How about trying the installer but adding "ColdFusion_9_WWE_win64.exe
-console" and see what happens?

Let me how you fix it cause I'm curious now.

Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to mess with this, so I just re-imaged my machine back to its original state (which includes CF9). But thank you for the suggestion. Wish I had been more frequent in checking back here.
