"Delphi" is the registered trademark name of the Rapid Application
Development (RAD) tool published by INPRISE Corporation (the umbrella
corporation under which Borland is now a subsidiary). Microsoft has no
product named Delphi.
Delphi is an object-oriented application development tool. Using Delphi,
you can write Windows applications using a very graphical interface, these
programs written in object-oriented Pascal. The strength of Delphi lies in
the triad of fundamental features: RAD, easy database access and
programming, and a very fast compiler.
